When the monitor is off it is invisible behind the mirror and undetectable by anyone. This monitor can be automatically turned on when the car is put into reverse, showing you the rear of the car while you reverse. There is also a screen reverse switch which will allow you to flip an image horizontally for a mirror image, crucial while you view the rear view camera.
There is also an extra video input allowing you to put another video source on the rear view mirror's monitor, so you can attach your navigation, dvd player, video games or other cameras to this monitor with ease. Details
